American Salad Recipe


  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 2 pickled gherkins
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons of strained yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Preparation Of

Chop the vegetables from which you have taken the shell parts into cubes. Boil the potatoes, carrots and peas in hot water that you have boiled in separate pots for about 10 minutes until they are tender. Strain the boiling water and let the vegetables cool. Add the potatoes and carrots to a deep mixing bowl. Then add the peas. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, strained yogurt and salt well for the sauce. Chop the pickled gherkins into small cubes. Combine with yoghurt and mayonnaise sauce and mix well. Bon appetit.
