Baked Spicy Crispy Cajun Recipe


  • 1 kilo of potatoes
  • 1/2 coffee cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon of anise
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
  • 1 capia pepper coarsely chopped
  • 3 green peppers coarsely chopped

Caramelized onions;

  • 3 medium sized onions piyaz
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

For the above;

  • Green parts of 3 spring onions, coarsely chopped
  • 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 3 sprigs of dill, finely chopped
  • Sausage
  • Sausage

Preparation Of

Wash the potatoes thoroughly with the peel. Boil in plenty of water to medium softness. Chop into cubes. Add kahuna spice, anise, olive oil, salt and pepper and mix. Pour into a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Bake in preheated 200 degrees until golden brown. Turn it over from time to time. Take the potatoes out of the oven on a serving plate. Add the oil and onions to the pan and mix. Add honey to the onions that have started to soften and continue to fry. Remove the colored onions from the stove. Add the caramelized onions to the potatoes. Sprinkle the greens. Saute the sausage and onions in a separate pan with a little oil. Add it to the mixture. Enjoy your meal.
