For the meatballs:
- 500 grams ground beef
- 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper
- 1 tea glass of stale bread (ground)
- 2 onions
- 1.5 teaspoons of salt
For the sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon of butter
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
For the above:
- 2 pita bread
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 tomato
- 2 peppers
First of all, cut the onion into cubes and if possible, finely grind the bread crumbs.
Add ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, black pepper and salt into a bowl and knead.
Take walnut-sized pieces from the meatballs you prepared. Flatten the meatballs with your hands and fry them in a cast iron skillet.
Roast the tomatoes and peppers in a cast iron pan or on the grill.
For the tomato sauce; Melt the butter in a pan. Add tomato paste, granulated sugar and salt and mix.
Fry the ingredients well until the smell of tomato paste comes out. Slowly add water to it.
After the sauce has boiled for a moment, remove it from the stove.
Chop the nail pitas into cubes and place them in the serving plate.
Heat the broth in a saucepan. Then run the nails over the pitas.
After whisking the yogurt, drizzle it over the pitas. Add the tomato sauce you prepared to the yogurt.
