Materials

  • 3.5 cups flour
  • 2 glasses of water
  • 1 packet of instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For the syrup:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 1 slice of lemon

Preparation Of

First, we prepare our syrup. I did not use lemon, but according to our recipe, we take the lemon, sugar and water in a saucepan and boil it. We will have a thick syrup.
We leave the syrup to cool.
We are preparing the dough for our dessert. We take the necessary ingredients in a bowl and mix them with the help of a mixer.
We get a thicker dough than cake dough.
We leave it to rest for 1 hour to ferment and wait.
We take our dough that has found its yeast.
Add half of the oil to a saucepan and heat it.
We take the dough as if making a fist into our palms.
With a dessert spoon dipped in oil, we take the piece on our fist and throw it into the hot oil.
We fry both sides, stirring occasionally.
We throw the fried dough into the syrup and mix it again, let it stand for 2 minutes and transfer it to the serving plate.
We continue this process until the dough is finished.
If you have leftovers from our syrup, you can pour it on it and dip the dessert and consume it.
