Blue Poppy Candypare Recipe


  • 1.5 cups of semolina
  • 2.5 cups of flour
  • 1 egg at room temperature
  • 200 grams of butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla

For the above;

  • 1 tablespoon of blue poppy

For sherbet;

  • 3.5 cups sugar
  • 3 glasses of water
  • juice of 4/1 lemon

Preparation Of

First, prepare the syrup to cool. Put the water and sugar in the pot and mix. When it starts to thicken, add the lemon juice and mix again. Take it off the stove and let it cool. Mix all the ingredients except flour in a deep bowl and knead the dough by adding the flour in a controlled manner. Prepare the dough that will not stick to the hand and let it rest for 10 minutes. Grease the baking dish. Take walnut-sized pieces from the dough and roll them out. Cover the remaining part with poppy and place them in the oven dish spaced apart. Continue until the dough is gone. In this size, 25-26 pieces are obtained. Put hazelnuts on it and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes. When the heat of the dessert you baked in the oven passes, mix it with sherbet. Wait for 3 hours and serve. Enjoy your meal.
