Broad Beans Recipe with Olive Oil

Materials

  • 1 kilo of broad beans
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 sprigs of fresh garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 2 cups of warm water
  • Salt

For the above;

  • 1/2 bunch of dill, finely chopped
  • Garlic Yogurt

Preparation Of

Remove the ends of the broad beans and chop coarsely. Soak in lemon water so that it does not turn black and drain. Fry the chopped onion until fragrant. Add finely chopped garlic and sugar and mix. Add the pods. Cook for 1-3 minutes. Sprinkle flour on it. Add salt and mix. Add water and cook on low heat until soft. Let it cool at room temperature. Transfer it to a serving plate and drizzle extra virgin olive oil on it. Sprinkle with dill. Serve with garlic yogurt. Enjoy your meal.
