Chicken and Chickpea Bulgur Pilaf Recipe

Materials

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 5-6 black peppercorns
  • 2 cardamom
  • 1 clove of garlic

 

  • 1.5 cups bulgur for rice
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • Green part of 4-5 spring onions
  • 3 glasses of water
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • chili pepper
  • Cumin

Preparation Of

Wash the chicken in plenty of water. Fill a pot with water to cover it. Boil the chicken. Strain and pour the first water. Again, add 3 glasses of water, black pepper, garlic and the cardamom that you cracked the shell with and boil. Drain the chicken and let it cool. We will use the water in rice. Fry the bulgur in butter and oil for 3-4 minutes. Add the chickpeas, salt and water and cook on a spoon until the water is absorbed. Add the spices and mix. Add the shredded chicken on it, cover with a towel and rest for 10 minutes. Take it on a serving plate and sprinkle the finely chopped spring onions on it. Enjoy your meal.
