- 2 cups of rice
- 3 cups of chicken stock or hot water (you can mix both)
- 2 spoonful butter
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
Wash the rice and leave it in salty and warm water for about 15-20 minutes, then drain the water.
Add the oil and butter to the pot, add the washed and drained rice after the butter melts.
After frying a little, add boiled water or chicken stock, then salt.
Add the boiled chickpeas and close the lid of the pot. If you wish, you can add boiled chickpeas with rice, it is very good either way.
Cook the rice on high until it boils, and cook it on low heat until the water is gone.
You can take it out of the oven after the rice has absorbed its water and the rice has softened.
After covering it with paper towel, let it rest for 10 minutes.
Our pilaf is ready to serve.
