Cooked Barley Recipe

Materials

  • 2 cups medium bulgur wheat
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 green peppers
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 1/2 bunch of fresh mint
  • 4-5 sprigs of spring onions
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 3 tablespoons of pomegranate syrup
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt

Preparation Of

Fry the chopped onions and green peppers in olive oil until they turn brown. Add the tomato paste and continue frying until the smell is gone. Add the peeled and chopped tomatoes and mix. Add the washed bulgur, bajarats and 3 glasses of hot water and mix. Cook on low heat until it takes the water. Rest for 10 minutes. Add the finely chopped greens, pomegranate syrup, lemon juice and mix. You can serve warm. Enjoy your meal.
