Fig Jam Recipe

Materials

  • 1 kg of fresh figs
  • 1 kg of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Preparation Of

Figs are thoroughly washed 12 hours beforehand and put in a pot. Powdered sugar is poured on it and left for 12 hours. Then, the figs are taken to the stove and cooked with partially melted sugar. After boiling, the consistency of the syrup is checked and it is continued to be cooked on low heat for about 30-35 minutes. Fig jam is poured into a clean and dry jar with boiling water and the lid of the jar is closed in a hot way. Enjoy your meal.
