Fish Soup Recipe

Materials

  • 1 medium sea bass
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 6 glasses of water
  • 1 medium size potato
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cloves medium garlic
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 medium sized lemon
  • 2 egg yolks

Preparation Of

For the fish soup, put a medium-sized pot of water and bring it to a boil. While your water is boiling, clean your fish on the other hand. Put the cleaned fish into the boiling water. Then add one peeled and cleaned onion. Remove the boiled fish and onions from the water with a colander. Strain the fish broth so that no particles remain in it. Then peel and dice the potato, carrot and one onion and garlic. After removing the parsley, finely chop it. Then, after the boiled fish has cooled a little, separate the bones and separate the meat into small pieces. After completing these processes, add the chopped potatoes, carrots and onions into the fish broth. Cook until soft. Take about a ladle of fish broth into a separate bowl. Add the flour and mix it.

Fish water should be slightly warm. If the fish broth is hot, the flour may turn into lumps. Pour the diluted flour on the vegetables and mix it slowly. After about two minutes of boiling, add the chopped fish and parsley and boil it. If the fish broth is low, you can add extra virgin water. Then take some of the soup’s water and put it in a separate bowl. Squeeze 2 egg yolks and lemon juice into it, add and whisk. Then mix it quickly and add it to the soup. Boil for about 10-15 more minutes. Finally, add salt, pepper and lemon juice and mix. Thus, your fish soup will be ready to serve. Enjoy your meal.
