Fresh Zahter Salad with Capers Recipe

Materials

  • 1 bowl of fresh zahter
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 spring onions
  • 4-5 sprigs of parsley
  • 3 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 3 tablespoons sliced cocktail olives
  • 3 tablespoons of capers
  • 1/2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of pomegranate molasses
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • zest of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt

Preparation Of

Remove the hard parts of the zahter. Wash and strain. In a large bowl, add the zahteri, diced tomatoes, finely chopped spring onions and parsley, and the garlic, olives and capers that you pounded in a mortar with a little salt and mix.
