Leek Recipe with Olive Oil


  • 2 stalks of leek
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 tablespoon of rice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon

Preparation Of

Remove the outer skins and root parts of the leeks and wash them thoroughly in water. After washing, chop your leeks in a diagonal shape.
After cleaning the carrots, cut them in half lengthwise. Cut the carrots in half the same size as the leeks.
Place the leeks and carrots in a large saucepan. After rinsing the rice you have drained, sprinkle it into the pot. Add half of the olive oil and fry lightly on low heat.
Add granulated sugar and salt to the pot and mix lightly.
Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the leeks. Cook the leek on low heat for 20-25 minutes with the lid closed.
After resting the leek in olive oil, you can serve it warm or cold, accompanied by lemon slices.
You can make your leeks more delicious by drizzling olive oil on your food during service.
