Meatballs with Roasted Mushrooms Recipe



  • 500 grams minced meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup fine bulgur wheat
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • Salt


  • 6-7 finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 carrots diced into rings
  • 2 tablespoons of oil for sautéing mushrooms and carrots
  • 2 tablespoons of oil for frying the meatballs

For the above;

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • A pinch of finely chopped dill


  • 2 cups strained yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups broth and water

Preparation Of

In a large bowl, knead your meatballs with ground beef and other ingredients and let them rest for 15 minutes. Roll into a hazelnut size. Put your oil on your pan and fry your meatballs. Saute mushrooms and carrots in the same pan. Put the butter and flour in the pan and fry until it smells. In another bowl, mix the strained yogurt, broth and egg and whisk with a whisk. Add the flour to the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and boils. Add the meatballs, mushrooms and carrots and bring to a boil. While serving, drizzle with butter and sprinkle with dill. Enjoy your meal.
