- 1 kilo of dried beans
- 250 grams of butter
- 5 onions
- 1 tablespoon of chili paste
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 2 green peppers
- 1 red bell pepper
First, we soak the beans in warm water the night before and leave them until morning. The next day, we drain the beans and boil them in plenty of water. We clean the foams accumulated in the water during boiling with the help of a spoon. Drain the boiled beans and keep them under cold water. We melt the butter in a copper pot over low heat and start frying the onions and peppers, which we cut as edible, in this oil. Then add the tomato paste and cook, stirring constantly. After adding 1 tea glass of hot water to open the tomato paste, we add the dried beans and fry for 3-4 minutes. Then we add enough hot water to pass the beans slightly and let them cook on low heat. While our food is boiling, we add salt according to our taste. We check the dry beans that we cook on low heat for about 1 hour, with the mouth closed, and serve them when they are soft. Meatless beans are ready!
