Meatless Kapuska Recipe


  • 1 kg chopped cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of bulgur or rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 3 cups of boiling water

Preparation Of

Let’s put the butter in the pan. Let’s add a little oil to it.
Let’s add onion and tomato paste on it one by one and fry it.
Then add chopped cabbage and mix.
Close the lid of the pot and let it cook on low heat.
After cooking in its own juice for 15 minutes, let’s add 3 glasses of boiling water, salt, chili pepper, black pepper and add bulgur or rice.
After the pot starts to boil, close the lid.
Let it cook for another 20 minutes on low heat.
Our meal is ready to be served.
