Olive Oil Chickpea Leek Recipe


  • 1 kilo of leeks
  • 1 coffee cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon of boiled chickpeas
  • 1 coffee cup of rice
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 glass of water

Preparation Of

Wash and clean the leeks thoroughly. Chop to the size you want. Shave the carrots. Chop the size of a leek. Put the oil and onion in the pan and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the carrots. Fry for 2-3 more minutes, add the leeks and mix. Fry for another 3-4 minutes. Add rice, chickpeas, sugar, salt and water and cook on low heat until the rice is cooked and remove from the stove. Let it rest for 2-3 hours in the pot you cooked and add the lemon juice. Remove to serving plate. Enjoy your meal.
