Olive Oil Mint Yam Recipe

Materials

  • 1 kilo of yams
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 spoon of rice
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 cups of warm water
  • Salt

Preparation Of

Peel the skin of the yams. Slice the large ones and soak them in cold water. Fry the chopped onion in olive oil. Add the Jerusalem artichokes, carrots cut into rings and a glass of water and cook for 5 minutes. Add the rice, lemon juice, sugar, salt and remaining juice and cook until the yams are tender. Remove from the stove and cool. Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with mint. Enjoy your meal.
