Poppy Bun Recipe

Materials

  • 1 packet of fresh yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of warm milk
  • 2 cups of warm water
  • 5-6 cups of flour
  • 1 bowl of poppy
  • A glass of oil to open the poppy

For the above

  • 1 egg yolk

Preparation Of

Take the yeast into the dough kneading bowl and mix it with the milk. Add salt and sugar to it and mix. Then add flour and knead until you get a soft dough. Cover the dough with a cloth and wait for it to ferment. Meanwhile, add the oil into the poppy and mix it with a spoon. Divide the fermented dough into two pieces and put the dough on the counter where you will open it. Take the meringue on the oiled counter and open it with a rolling pin. Then enlarge the dough by pressing and pulling with your hand. Spread the oily poppy mixture generously on it and roll it up. When the roll is finished, hold the dough from both ends and twist it upside down. Then place it on the tray. You can cut it out if you wish. Do the same with the other meringue. After waiting for it to ferment a little more on the tray, brush an egg on it and bake it in a preheated 200 degree oven until golden brown. Enjoy your meal.
