Rice Pilaf Recipe with Barley Noodle

Materials

  • 2 cups of baldo rice
  • 3 glasses of water
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or oil
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of barley vermicelli

Preparation Of

Rice is sorted and soaked for 30 minutes by adding enough warm water and salt to pass 3-4 fingers over it.
After soaking, rice starch is washed until it is separated and the water is filtered.
In a flat pan, put the oil, heat it and melt it.
Add the barley noodle and mix it until it turns pink, always in the same direction.
By adding rice, it is always mixed in the same direction, being careful not to break the rice, and it is roasted until it has a bright and hard appearance.
On the other hand, water is boiled.
Boiling water is added on the rice.
Add salt, mix once and close the lid.
The stove is turned to low and the pot is shaken from time to time and it is cooked until the water is completely absorbed.
The cooked rice is left to rest in the pot, covered with a damp cloth, until the time of serving.
