Russian Salad Recipe


For Mayonnaise;

  • 1 egg
  • 5 ml of sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice

For the salad;

  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 8-10 pickled cucumbers
  • 1 handful of peas

Preparation Of

To make the mayonnaise, take the egg in a deep bowl and whisk until foamy. While whisking with the mixer, add the sunflower oil to the bowl by pouring it thinly. Be slow when adding oil. Gradually add oil and whisk for about 4-5 minutes. As the oil is added, it will thicken and the mayonnaise will be ready. You can put the prepared mayonnaise in the refrigerator.

Chop the vegetables finely and boil them. Chop the pickle finely. After the vegetables have cooled, mix them with mayonnaise. Your salad is ready to be served. Enjoy your meal.
