Spinach Pie Recipe

Materials

  • 6 phyllo dough (If you are going to make small phyllo,
  • 1 tray comes out of 8 pieces.)

For internal mortar;

  • 1 kg. Spinach (I used lamb spinach-small leaf)
  • 500 gr. Salted Curd Cheese
  • 2 onions
  • 1 teaspoon powdered red sweet pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Black pepper
  • Liquid oil
  • Salt

For the sauce;

  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 bottle of soda/mineral water
  • A little more than half a glass of oil
  • 1 egg

For the above;

  • A medium bowl of available sauce
  • 1 egg yolk

Preparation Of

Spinach is well washed and cleaned. It is cut into long strips and rubbed lightly with salt. Two onions are chopped for cooking and fried in light oil until they turn pink. The process continues until the tomato paste is added and the raw smell is gone. Care must be taken not to burn the onions. Onion-tomato paste mixture is kept aside to cool. Sweet powdered red pepper and black pepper are added to the spinach. Add the warmed onion-paste mixture and curd cheese respectively. It blends beautifully. The yufkas are opened one by one and the sauce is applied liberally. It is folded in half, the sauce is applied to the folded surface and spread in the form of a strip of mortar on the wide part. It is wrapped on the sides. Wrapped dough; It is cut in 4 finger widths and placed on the tray.On it, 1 egg yolk is added to the sauce we have separated and spread on a generous amount. There should not be a dry place. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45/50 minutes until golden brown. Donuts are ready. Enjoy your meal.
