Spinach Roll Recipe


For the dough;

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 coffee cup of water

For inside;

  • 1/2 kilo of spinach
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 spoon of flour


Preparation Of

Finely chop the spinach and onion. Fry lightly in a frying pan to which you have added olive oil. Add salt, pepper. When cool, add flour and egg white and mix. When it cools down, add the flour and egg white and mix. For the dough, open the center of the flour. Add oil, eggs, water, salt and baking soda. Mix it well. Knead it. Make a medium soft dough. Keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Roll out into a 2-3 cm thick rectangular shape. Spread in the spinach paste. Roll it up from the long side. Cut 1 inch wide. Arrange on the baking tray. Brush it with egg yolk and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Enjoy your meal.
