Stuffed Green Tomatoes Recipe


  • 1 kilo of green tomatoes (10 pieces)
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon of rice
  • 250 grams lean ground beef
  • 1/2 bunch dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of dry basil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt

For the above ;

  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil

Preparation Of

Cut off the stalked tops of the tomatoes with a knife without separating them in the shape of a hat. Take them with the help of a spoon. Chop finely in a separate bowl. Finely chop the onions and fry them in butter and sunflower oil until they turn pink and remove from the heat. Add the inside of the tomatoes, the washed and drained rice, spices, salt, minced meat and dill to the fried onions and mix well. Put the mortar into the tomatoes and close the lids. Arrange in the pot. Put 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil in the pan and heat it. Turn off the stove and add dry mint and 1.5 cups of water and mix. Drizzle over the fillings. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. You can serve it hot. Enjoy your meal.
