Stuffed Kadaif Recipe


  • 300 grams of fresh string kadayif
  • 1 cup of crushed walnuts

To find;

  • 3 eggs
  • half a glass of milk
  • Half a pack of vanilla

To fry;

  • Liquid oil

For sherbet;

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2.5 glasses of water
  • 3-4 drops of lemon juice

Preparation Of

First, we prepare the syrup. For this, we boil sugar and water for about 20 minutes. We drop 3-4 drops of lemon juice into it, close to taking it from the stove. The syrup needs to be quite cold, so my suggestion is to make the syrup well in advance and put it in the fridge. We separate the kadayıf a little with our hands. We take a piece of palm and open it on the counter. We put the cracked walnut on one side and wrap it tightly by gathering the edges. We wrap the remaining kadayifs in this way. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and vanilla thoroughly. We mix the kadaifs we have prepared with the egg mixture and fix them with our hands. You can squeeze out the excess egg with your hand. Put plenty of oil in a deep pan and heat it. We throw the stuffed kadayif into the hot oil and fry it well on all sides. As soon as we take it out of the pot, we immediately drop it into the cold syrup. Keep it in the syrup for 3-4 minutes and transfer it to the serving plate. You can pour walnuts on it.
