Materials

  • 5 eggs

  • 5 cups cold milk
  • 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 400 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered milk

For Caramel:

  • 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 pack of cream

For the cake of our dessert, we beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl until the color is well lightened. Slowly add the oil while continuing to whisk. Then we add flour, semolina, vanilla and baking powder respectively and pour the mixture we prepared into our baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 30-35 minutes. While our cake continues to bake, we prepare our syrup. After whisking all the sherbet ingredients in a bowl until the milk foams, we let them rest in the refrigerator. We wait for the cake to cool a little after the baking process is completed. Then we make small holes on it with a toothpick and slice it. We pour the syrup, which we have rested in the refrigerator, on the sliced ​​cake and wait for it to stand in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Close to serving, we take the sugar for caramel in a Teflon pan and cook it until it becomes caramelized. Then we add the butter first and then the cream and mix quickly. During this process, the caramel may become hard, waxy and hard, but will melt as you continue mixing. When the caramel is ready, we spread it evenly on the cake that has taken the syrup and serve it after 10-15 minutes.
