Wet Hamburger Ingredients

  • 6 hamburger buns

Ingredients for Meatballs

  • 400 – 500 grams medium fat ground beef
  • 1 onion – grater
  • 3 cloves of garlic – grated
  • ½ cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ bunch of parsley
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Ingredients for the Sauce

  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic – grated
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Preparation Of

For the hamburger patties;
Take the ground beef in a mixing bowl.
Add grated onion, grated garlic, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, eggs and finely chopped parsley and knead well.
Shape the hamburger patties by portioning slightly larger than the size of the bun. Take your pan on the stove and heat it well.
Pour a bit of olive oil into it and cook the hamburger patties for thirty seconds on each side.

For the sauce;
Take your pot on the stove, add olive oil and heat it.
Then add the diced tomatoes, ketchup, tomato paste and garlic.
Season with salt and pepper and let the sauce boil.
After boiling, keep on low heat and continue cooking until the sauce has a slightly thick consistency.
Then pull it through a blender.

To combine;
Cut the hamburger buns in half.
Dip the insides of the breads in the tomato sauce and put the meatballs inside.
Wet a baking paper thoroughly, place the soaked baking paper in the pan where you cooked the meatballs, without removing the water from them.
Place the prepared hamburgers on the wet baking paper.
Spread the sauce on the bread with the help of a spoon.
Cover your pan and let it sit for a few minutes on low heat until the bread is soft and wet, and then serve.
