Yogurt Soup Recipe

  • 2 liters of water
  • 5-6 tablespoons of rice
  • 1 tablespoon (heaping) flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 cups of yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint

For the above:

  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 2 teaspoons of dried mint

Preparation Of

Pour water into a medium saucepan. Add in the rice. Cook on low heat until the rice is soft. Transfer the yogurt, egg and flour into a bowl. Beat well and be careful not to clump the flour inside. Take a ladle of the water from the rice cooked on the stove and mix it well with the yogurt mixture. Then, do this by adding a few more ladles. Pour the yogurt mixture onto the rice that is being cooked on the stove, very carefully, in a thin thread and mix it on the other hand. After adding all the yogurt in this way, mix it well until it boils. Add the dried mint and salt. Continue cooking on the stove for a few more minutes. At this stage, if the consistency becomes too thick, you can add water. Melt the butter in a separate pan and add the dried mint and lightly burn it. Drizzle over your soup before serving. Then serve your soup. Enjoy your meal.
